As an adult, after hearing the creator of Are You Afraid of the Dark? was working on a new show (not even a horror show or for kids/young adults, just a new show in general. Yeah, he seriously stayed out of work for about 20 years), I set out to solve one of the greatest mysteries of my childhood: what the hell WAS that dust that made the fire flare up? The answer: powdered coffee creamer. Which is actually highly combustible, leading to many incidents when combined with the fact that they brought real trees onto a sound stage to film the Midnight Society segments. Fortunately they only took about a day to film an entire season's worth of the Midnight Society's segments, or Canada would have gone up in flames in the 90s.

ROUNDHOUSE was nostalgia in its purest form for us 90’s kids. I remember it being the first show on the evening’s lineup. The show wasn’t amazing whatsoever, but to this day I have vivid memories of hearing that intro song coming from my TV on a warm Summer Saturday night at 8pm as the last glow of the Sun’s twilight was leaving the sky. It was like the official kickoff song to my Saturday night. I was either going to stay-in and watch SNICK or I was paying half attention to it, while getting dressed and ready to go out. It’s been nearly 30 years and I still remember it clearly and how it felt. Oh! And even though she had 7 years on me, I had a crush on Micki Duran.💘 So there was that too.

4 years late here, but that was my FAVORITE show as a kid by far. I still remember a lot of the dialog and use some of the jokes (not that anyone gets them, but it's still funny to me). I've been wishing someone would re-upload episodes to KZitem or somewhere else. There used to be a bunch of them but they got taken down. Last time I checked there were only one or two and then a bunch of clips and behind the scenes stuff. James Raymond (the keyboard player in the band, also David Crosby's son!) has a few neat videos on his channel. There was one skit with "dumb kid" (David Sidoni) playing scrabble with Mark David's character and plays the word "clarner". Mark's character asks for clarification and dumb kid says, "clarner: one who clarns". There's a street a few blocks from my house called Clarner St. I've always wanted to take a picture of the street sign and send it to David Sidoni (who is fairly successful as a real estate agent in California these days) and tell him maybe dumb kid wasn't so dumb after all.

It legally had to. Any cartoon that had adult humor had to be aired when minors were supposed to be in bed. I believe it was South Park that set that law in effect originally because parents deemed it innapropiate for kids. That's why you had shows like the Simpsons changing their time slot. In the USA of course I'm referring to. Not sure about anywhere in the world.

I liked Are You Afraid of the Dark, and the idea of being in a cool secret group that would hang out and do something fun like tell scary stories in the middle of the night was always something I thought would be very cool when I was younger.

I actually have very vague memories of having watched Roundhouse when I was around three I think. It's mostly just the title and theme song. Are You Afraid of the Dark? I barely watched because I was legitimately afraid of it. I saw a couple of episodes back then, but only if my mom was there. When I was thirteen or fourteen I guess I did see the TV movie they did, The Curse of the Silver Sight. I thought it was okay back then. Nowadays as a full grown adult myself, I like me a good horror story. All That I loved it. I think it's the reason I like sketch shows like Saturday Night Live now. I also loved Kenan and Kel. Though, judging Kenan and Kel solely based on Two Heads Are Better Than None is not exactly accurate. The film has certain supernatural and surreal aspects that never appeared on the show itself. I always thought that was strangest thing about it.

A fun fact: the tomboyish black girl, Kiki from Are You Afraid Of The Dark is played by Jodie Resther, who did the voice of Francine from the animated series, Arthur.

You can find episodes of Kablam over sites that archive and host all of the episodes; KissCartoon and Cartoon7 can help with this. You want Nickelodeon GUTS? Some people took the time to grab some of the old Show recordings and post them on youtube. Not full videos, but enough to work with. Also, what about 'Legends of the Hidden Temple?' I don't recall it being a NICKELODEON show, but it was an atheletic Game Show and was sort of interesting.... The first few episodes until it feels like replaying the Legend of Zelda for the 24th time.

am i the only one that still watches two heads are better than none every october and laughs throughout most of the movie? he left out the punchline of the toast stories joke where kel goes "ohh..i dont know any GHOST stories" as if he has a plethora of TOAST stories on hand but not a single ghost story, i dont know i always liked that line. also the "11 bottles of oraaange soodaaa........on the waaAAaaaAAAaaaaAAAll ~ yeah i was tired of that song" mr thompson: "well aint that about a b-". seriously, nobody else found these scenes funny? and wasnt the song the monkey plays a stevie wonder song (superstition) not ludacris? or were you saying the song itself is ludicrous?
