Unbelievable tenor sax!! SNL is NOT SNL without this closing theme song. Essential as Pete, Lenny, Kenan, Michael, Colin, Cecily, Kate, Melissa, and many more over the decades ... for telling the truth about our society!! Thank you, Lorne Michaels!!

This song should be our Official National Anthem. And while it plays we should clap, cheer, wave, hug each other, hold hands, sway, high five the person standing behind you, take a second to pause and think about those not with us, pound your chest once with one fist and point to the sky... and d--n it, it doesn't stop until we're done.

When Tower Of Power comes to BB Kings in NY, Pickett always joins them for the final few songs at least. He is a real gas to hear play with his former band TOP. Filthy, dirty, disgusting display of the way a tenor sax expresses the innermost entrails of the person playing it. I play tenor sax, and agree that the Waltz In A riff is the best. This WILL be played on a 20 minute loop at my memorial. Funerals, per se, are boring and morbid. This piece will be played with my friends and family hoisting multiple shots of Absolut, Crown Royal, Johnny Walker Red Label Scotch, and Makers Mark bourbon.
