It’s surprising what works and what doesn’t though. Thought I was going to have real trouble with Judd’s pink but it was the black that was the problem
@dermotshaw6775

@@Breakfromlife judds pink is played with check side but the tangent line helps the pace, where's the black shot you have to create the line with check and run around the angles off two cushions, like you said the side really slows the cue ball down. But I thi k more so because the angle you have to create with the back side vs the natural line

Amazing. I love your humbleness and your surprise when you get these seemingly impossible shots, at times, all with your technical insight and commentary making it a fun and learning experience. Not just bland recreation; conversely, you interject with passion and kookiness that matches your skills. Thanks a lot. Love all stuff I've seen thus far. Cheers. :)

I really like these videos that reproduce interesting/tough shots from tournaments. I don't play snooker, though, as I don't think there are any tables here in Louisville (and I've looked a couple times). So to help noobs like me, I think it would be cool if you'd consider showing the shot at reduced speed a bit, along with some commentary on what's interesting / tough about the shot before you dive into the reproduction. As it is, I have to try to piece it together in my head. Love your work!

I've been watching your channel for a long time now and the one thing that I always think is the reason you can't get the same pace on the cue ball is cloth. I am sure your cloth isn't as fast as that on a pro table plus the fact that yours will have a build up of dirt from dust, skin, sweat, moisture, chalk, etc, which a clean pro table won't have. So I don't think it's a case of you can't hit it hard enough and most likely if you had one of the pro's try the same shot on your table, you'd probably find they couldn't recreate their own shots either! :)

I knew that I was too late to say so, but the shot at black to yellow by Judd Trump vs Alexander Ursenbacher in Round 4 Frame 3 using a lot of top spin to retard the cue ball off the side cushion was so spectacular that you should try to demonstrate it to us.

I love these videos, you put in so much effort. I do think, however, you are way too harsh on yourself with your ‘shot accuracy’ ratings. In my opinion, you recreate the shot perfectly, but only give yourself 8/9 out of 10. Keep up the awesome work, big fan!! (Nottingham, UK!)

Correct me if I'm wrong - Lei Peifans hand movement at 8:00 suggests that he himself considers the pot to be a fluke..? You think he didn't aim for the pot actually or is it because the ball wiggled in? Or did I miss anything else..? Great Video once more by the way, thank you so much, it is as interesting as entertaining and since I couldn't get near a table in quite some time now it is even more... Calming? Great videos and incredible improvements you have made over the past months! Now I don't know much about snooker, but I have a very strong feeling that you are hanging on to one particular concept that makes it more difficult for you to emulate the kind of cue power the players like Trump and Robertson have. In my amateurish opinion, this has nothing whatsoever to do with adding your body weight to the shot, but is purely a matter of refined technique, i.e. micro-timing when your cue tip is actually going through the ball. I think that by adding a gross motor factor to your cue action your timing actually starts to suffer and you generate less speed. let me know what you think!

Try to move horizontally but with side spin you won’t be striking it straight. So unfortunately it’s nearly but not quite that simple
