Look at the way Snoop looks at the screen when he sees 2Pac, Biggie, and the guys. Look at the way he stares at the screen when the video of a 17 Year old Biggie is up. He’a not looking at hip hop history the way Joe’s looking. Snoop’s looking at memories. He’s looking at friends, family, guys he used to know. It’s heartbreaking.

Snoop is a great artist, but lets be real, hes just another gangster rapper. He didnt have any BIG messages in his music at all. And honestly, Biggie didnt either! Big just had amazing flow/delivery and presence. TUPAC though, his lyrics look like a mastermind writing a revolutionary manifesto. On a totally different level. I'm always saying this! We all lost so much game when he lost his life. Its heartbreaking that he ain't hear to speak his truth to us. But like he said "thats sum grab in the bucket type of shit" which helps relieve the pain of his passing & glad for him that he can just be at peace kickin it in thugs mansion. We got plenty of interviews to learn from him so for those of us that are truly listening to him, the best we can do for him is use the knowledge he gave & build on it then make sure to pass that on to the next generation.

Sure is...some of my most vivid teenage memories are back dropped by doggy style. Will forever remain one of my all time favourite albums.

Dre’s production was golden in the 90s. Without it Snoop was nowhere near as good. Doggystyle was huge because it was highly anticipated after The Chronic album

Bro older black people have some of the most soothing voices. Especially older black women. I'd pay to have a black grandma experience where she tells me stories about her youth until I fell asleep

Snoop needs to narrate some shows for Animal Planet. Or Frontline even.

I feel Joe was not on the same wavelength as Snoop here. Snoop wanted him to see that from his eyes and appreciate it like that

It would have opened up so many interesting discussions if they had just lingered on that video for a while. Snoop knew that. Hell, I wanted to see and hear about it more (and this was my era coming up too... people don't recognize how gripping all those hip hop moments really were).
