Wow!! Tommy ought to be happy with this! One I actually know, but I listened to the original just to refresh my memory. It's been a long time since I heard this. I think I still gave this album laying around somewhere. You really nailed this!! Just sounds very much like the original. But you still give it something extra. This beats the original! Good show!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👍

Holy crap, you've done it again! And excellent song that I was saying to myself quite often, especially the intro which was really creepy with the polarized filter, it looked like the Devil Himself trying to wiggle out of a bad situation! And then the switch over, and I noticed you were having to put a little extra concentration and effort to get the notes going, that's when I realized what a great blue-eyed soul voice you have, good sir! Great to see you're back to singing some of the great classics! Cheers and God bless!

Hey Truthsurge you did it again! Really love the vocals you did a great job. I'm also impressed with your studio. Just curious did you build the recording studio yourself by doing some form of construction work or did you just fill the room with the sound proof pads? The reason why I ask is because I'm thinking about sound proofing my room for voice over purposes.
@TruthSurge

All I did was put some cheap twin bed foam. On the walls and the ceiling. And there's three quilts on the wall opposite from my speakers. So no I didn't do anything really Special. I also made some bass traps out of some mineral rock insulation four inches thick. I have those in the corners and a couple squares hanging from the ceiling. Supposed to help cut down the bass reflections.

@@FRANKENSTEIN-tn1ml np. There's vocal booths you can also buy to go around your microphone area That helped dampen echoes from the room. I just figured out what damp in the whole room since I was gonna be mixing in there too so I wanted to beat down all the echoes. As much as possible without spending a fortune. There's definitely some resonant frequencies that vibrate too loudly in my room. That room is thirteen feet by thirteen feet. It's better if you have a room that's rectangular instead of square. But i'm not going to do any construction on my house Because of that and I wasn't gonna use the master bedroom which would have been better but oh well

Yeah, I remember playing this and I think the bass player (no names) sang Tommy's part and I did JY's. I don't remember playing a guitar you had but my memory is probably shoddy. If I did play it, I know I would have had to have done a guitar setup first cuz I didn't play normal gauge strings or guitars with any high action.
@rodneyarmstrong847
Жыл бұрын
You actually played it on stage more than once. And yes , you were the one that set it up for me. I was honored that you actually took a shine to it. See, you probably deleted the small memories to make room for the more important ones you created. This was a big memory for me. I even remember you sitting on your tailgate of the venue parking lot and changing the strings because they weren't the ones you liked.

@@rodneyarmstrong847 There's prob thousands of memories I haven't thought of since they happened and Maybe it's something my brain does for some reason but I remember a few things here and there. It's like when someone says hey, bro, remember me? I'm Jeff! And you can't remember him at all. hehe But I wish there was cell phones back then with some footage because I have vague memories of my youth and especially from birth to around 5 years old. It's like a black hole. I remember being traumatized when my folks drove me to 1st grade and I was prob still 5 years old and they expected me to walk out of the car up to this huge building on my own. smh. anyway.... I think I felt that the guitar was a safe place and I would have played full time if I was smart enough to know how back then. But I didn't. I remember those LV trips and playing at your house with Ed. I was so hooked on that Atari adventure game. hahah I think you guys had a guitar or two and I had maybe 2. That Hohner Les Paul copy and that Hagstrom red monster with the off on switches. That was an odd guitar.

? they are all kicking off copyright notices to my email. A year later, my vocal-only cover of Take It To The Limit was removed and I was given a copyright STRIKE. For just SINGING an Eagles song. So... the irony. I'm singing songs for FREE, making NO money off my video views and YT, slapping ads all over my vids and calling me a criminal for putting millions of views in the laps of the "music" companies. whatever. Screw the Eagles and the MGs. My life doesn't depend on those two entities. :)
