A snowy New Year's Day nature walk on Corstorphine Hill in Edinburgh. Using the book 'Scottish Plants for Scottish Gardens' by Jill, Duchess of Hamilton and Dr Franklyn Perring, we take a look at gorse, silver birch and hawthorn and discover the fascinating wildlife that depend on them. Plus, there are notes on how you can incorporate these beautiful shrubs and trees into your own garden. Watch to the end to see how I come across a bit of an unwelcome discovery!
I hope you enjoy watching my first ever vlog and if you have any ideas of what you would like to see in future videos then please comment below : )
Until next time, stay wild!
