I love how the female is screaming a war cry and the male's just moving out of the frame saying "hu hu hu hu hu hu hu hu hu hu "

It's crazy how these birds could severely injure you with their razor sharp talons or bite your finger off. That's why only professionals like the lady in this video should handle them and she's doing a great job.

Great, stolen clip with no context, I see. This is from the Russian channel Yoll, named after the Eagle Owl that is its star. The owner of the owl and the channel is Nika, who is an ornithologist living in Moscow. She keeps many different animals, including several owls, reptiles, and various arthropods. Here, she is visiting some snowy owls at a wildlife refuge. Snowy owls live in the tundra and nest on the ground: they don't need trees.

Bushi197 if you don’t see that the bird was clearly pissed and wanting them to leave then you need your head examined. It might look fluffy and cute but Owls are birds of prey - they don’t run up to humans excitedly looking for a snuggle. Calm content owls are quiet and still. It was warning them and warding them away “or else”. As soon as one started to back off it calmed down. Most animals give a warning before attacking, whether it’s moving towards you with aggressive body language, a growl, hiss etc. This is why attacks happen, people don’t respect animals and take note of warnings.

@@LittleSchnaggli the lady in the video is an orinthologist from Russia. I'm guessing they know a lot more about owl behavior and when to back off than you do. Maybe you should do your research before calling other people stupid.

That is not possible, its illegal too. In fact, you cannot even be in possetion of an owl feather alone. Well, if your a vet in the avian field, if that the correct word. I'm pretty sure, even if you handle Raptors in the hunting field, you're still not able to keep one, notice how you dont see people handling a Bald eagle, unless their a veterinarian.

No it's not. Don't claim it as abuse. The female owl is going through moods and is going throgh her mating cycle. She's moody and is warning if other "potential mates" in case the humans, away from the males. The women in this video and professionals and know what's they're doing.
