Potatoes whole 4
Butter-4 tbs
Heavy Cream 1 cup
Half & Half - 2 cup
Grated Cheese 12 oz
mozzarella 12 oz
Onion Powder 2 tbs
White Pepper 2 tbs
Nutmeg 1/4 tps
Flour 1 tbs
Salt
Melt butter in a pot
Slowly add flour and remove the lumps
Add some half & half, remove lumps
Pour in a cup of heavy cream and a cup of half & half
Continue stirring and mix in the spices
Continue stirring so that nothing burns on the bottom
of the pot. Add water if too thick
Mix in half the cheese and stur until melted
Peel the potatoes if you prefer
Slice the potatoes
I set the cutter to 6 (1/4 inch, 6 mm)
Butter the pan
Lay the potato slices flat in the pan
Pour in the cream sauce
Lay some cheese on top
Cover the pan with parchment paper and aluminum foil
Bake at 350F / 180C for an hour
Remove the covering
The cheese does not stick to the parchment paper
Broil for a short time to slightly brown the top
Remove from the oven and let sit for a couple of minutes
Then serve and enjoy!
