The Crowes were a breath of fresh air coming out if the Eighties in which we had to endure New.Wave and hair bands. They were a ramped up Rolling Stones and The Faces.

The lead singer has another band *Chris Robinson Brotherhood* that plays more of a 'hippie' style. I'd recommend *Let It Fall.* Think you might like it! Robinson definitely looks much more like a hippie now than he did when in the video you just watched; he's 30 years older (long hair and graying beard). Still a cutie pie though.

His name is Chris Robinson. His brother Rich on that red Gibson (lead guitar). They're from Georgia and their sound is enriched with southern blues, folk, funk, jazz and 70s rock. I've seen them live, such a great show. Chris has that bluesy rasp to his voice.

The lead singers name is Chris Robinson and his brother Rich is the blond guitarist in the velvet suit standing near the backup singers. Being from Georgia myself, I've seen these guys all over metro Atlanta in the late 80's up to their breakthrough in the 90's. I don't have a "favorite" Black Crowes song because I love them all but Sometimes Salvation is a must.

The Black Crowes are a heck of a band. There is a song of theirs called "Sometimes Salvation" that i used to listen to over and over, I would leave it looping when i fell asleep at night. Needless to say, I hope you will react to "SOMETIMES SALVATION" by the BLACK CROWES. All their songs are great, others I hope you do are "JEALOUS AGAIN" and "TWICE AS HARD".

When this album first came out many of us thought we had a new Rolling Stones band… unfortunately drug use and in fighting between band members lead to them breaking up after only a few albums. Chris Robinson (lead singer) is an amazing frontman and the band is back together again.

You can definitely hear the Rolling Stones influence in this song (aka "ITS ONLY ROCK 'N ROLL ). This is one damn fine band. Clearly shows the level of talent just oozing all over the screen from the band members and the lead singer 🤪 sounds great and that kid has more moves than a chicken full of EX LAX!!! A+++BAND!!

Also, only a few states has it legal for recreational use and the majority of the audience probably don't have a pharmacy card! If I remember right, they went to jail after several concerts on that 1st big tour. Their popularity certainly went up though! ✌❤

The first rock concert I ever went to was a co-headline show featuring Lenny Kravitz and the Black Crowes. Both were great, but the Crowes might have been a little better. They're sort of like an American version of the Rolling Stones, and I think if they had existed 20 years before they debuted, they probably would have been one of the biggest rock bands ever.

If you like the grit of Chris Robinson and some wicked blues guitar, try out some Jo nny Lang. "Lie to Me" was his biggest radio hit, but he actually had a bunch of great songs. That particular album is one I can just put on and listen from beginning to end without ever wanting to skip a song. (Similar to the Black Crowes "Shake Your Money Maker" in that respect)
