Such a great singer, such a great song. I don’t think Paul Davis ever wrote or recorded a song I didn’t like. Later on, he had a hugely successful career as a country singer throughout the ‘80s and early ‘90s. His song with Tanya Tucker and Paul Overstreet called “I Won’t Take Less Than Your Love” is guaranteed to bring a tear to Amber’s eye, but in a good way. For more of Paul’s pop side, you should check out “‘65 Love Affair”, it’s a little more upbeat and I think you guys will enjoy it. ❤

One of my favorites of Paul Davis. This song's message resonates so much life. What a treasure in song that I never tire of hearing. Good reaction, peace folks. P.S. At another Paul Davis reaction time, you ought to check out/react to "Do Right" and/or "Superstar" [it is lyrically nothing like the Carpenters tune, and is full of cameo references of other pop/rock stars of that time]. I think y'all would get a kick out of it. Hold the fort.

Paul Davis is so wonderful to listen to when you need to chill, relax and also set the romantic mood. You have now reacted to three songs by him this one, "I Go Crazy" and "Cool Night". Please don't stop now "65' Love Affair", "Do Right", "A Little Bit of Soap" and his version of "Love or Let Me Be Lonely" are all waiting for you to hear. He has many other wonderful songs not singles that are just as delightful to hear. He is so sadly missed. RIP Paul. Thinking of other male artists that you have enjoyed. Get back to these artists. Eddie Rabbitt with "Step by Step", "Someone Could Lose a Heart Tonight", "Suspicions" and "Every Which Way But Loose". James Taylor "Shower The People", "Her Town Too" and "Your Smiling Face". Stephen Bishop " It Might Be You" and "Save It For A Rainy Day". Another song I really think you both would enjoy is "Goin' Down" by Greg Guidry another voice you will love. "Goin' Down" is a 1982 Gem. Such a well crafted and smooth song. Greg was also a great songwriter and did write for other artists before his solo career.
