Really not even remotely close you knew beforehand that wow expansion was going to be announced. Here they had teased diablo as the big thing this year. If diablo 4 or a expansion to diablo 3 was announced and the mobile game people would not make a fuzz about the mobile game. Thats what drove me and so many people mad and yes, even quit WoW alltogether. Ofc I understand that here Diablo fans might have felt even more "betrayed", but just the same kind of disbelief I had back then about Mists of Pandaria that you have about Diablo going to mobile devices... kzitem.info/news/bejne/pamC0nmVj5llfZw&t To be that was so far off from what Warcraft should have been as this mobile game is for you Diablo fans.

He makes a fair and known point about complains and fanatism there, no matter how much dust this raise those fans of the Diablo franchise and youtubers paying their rent with the money given by companies and sponsors givven by those companies will play that game and their fans will do it as well, why? because "it's a shame for the Diablo franchise but as the blind fan that i am i must support my game and hopefully if i play it hard enough and pay for microtransactions somehow they realize it is wrong and do something, it won't happen but still".

This presentation footage is so tense and uncomfortable to watch, you can just feel the disappointment and hatred in the air. I’d hate to be one of the guys who had to present this expecting a different reaction, goddamn.

I'm with ya Rich, damn the mico transactions and season passes. Charge $120 for the "Full Game" and stop with this developing the game taking half of it away and charging for the rest of it bit by bit along the year.

The problem is that blizzard dont target hardcore diablo fan with this , but the casual players that ignores all the politics in videogames and dont care. They are the customers they are aiming for and milking from.

I feel sorry for Wyatt Cheng, but the red shirt guy said what had to be said. Right now this is about more than a mobile game. They way they decided to deal with the backlash is unacceptable.

Diablo Immortal is develop for Chinese market and all over the East. (Which major of people plays in mobile) The only mistake made by Blizzard is that they announce this in Blizzcon.

I am a "traditional" Diablo player since 1997, having played D2 for a decade and D3 for 14 seasons. I don't care for a mobile phone game, even if it is very good...when I find 30 minutes for me, I sit down in front of my gaming PC. if I have only 10 minutes, i will not spend them playing a gear grinding game in a mobile phone.

Blizzard: Don't worry Diablo you'll be okay. Just close your eyes. Diablo Series: I don't feel so good... Blizzard: You'll be going to the Mobile world now, it's okay.

I'm mostly with you on this, but there is one thing that is bugging me about this. Of course it looks like a reskin of their previous game. If blizzard approached them and said "hey we like your diablo clone. How you like to make an officially licensed game?" It would be really fucking weird if the new diablo game didn't look like the clone. The clone was an attempt to reproduce diablo 2, and they were hired to make a sequal to diablo 2... what else would it look like?

What is with this talking point of "Entitled Gamer"? What about Entitled Corporations thinking that making a product SHOULD be purchased? The power of the consumer must be restored and remembered, the consumer has all the right to be critical of products being advertised to them. GAMERS RISE!
