Barry Bailey. Such a fine player that is virtually unknown outside of central Georgia.

We love him down on the MS gulf coast I saw them in 1980 and just remember thinking how tastefully his licks were. We were about 15 when I saw them and we actually got to meet Paul Goddard as we were leaving the show. We hung out behind the coliseum in hopes of meeting Buch Dharma from Blue Oyster Cult. ARS opened up for them. Well we got to meet Buck as well as Paul. Great night.

We love him up here in Maine as well. So good, such tasty licks and funky grooves! One of my fave songs to loop and solo over for literally hours.

I wouldn't have thought ot learn this on my own. One of the best songs of the 70's era though. Thanks. It's fun.

Hardest thing to do on that song are those crazy pinch harmonics that Barry Bailey was able to do so well

Great lesson. Hey do you prefer satin or gloss finish necks?
@jamesjames9275

I like satin. Gloss gets a little sticky, but most of mine are gloss!

James James i agree. Satin all the way. Gloss necks feep like peanut butter and honey to me. I love your guitars though. Thanks again for all your lessons. You've helped take my guitar playing to a whole new level.

I love the tone of your (I believe to be) PAF Humbuckers. I think I can achieve the same sound with my Strat (Seymour Duncan SSL-5/SSL-5/JB Jr single coils) in the #2 Position or am I missing something?

This one sounded more like neck pickup to me, so I put it there. I put the gain up fairly high on the amp, then rolled the volume knob on the guitar back to cut down on distortion.
