I remember looking for youtubers that would give me insight like this but couldn't find any. This is super helpful and relieves me of any anxiety surrounding monthly costs. Merci beaucoup Tiffanie!

You've probably learned by now to buy for a month. I only go out twice a month to purchased fresh veggies, milk, bread. I have canned & boxed goods to last 2 months, and a 3 month supply of my medications. I've made masks to wear when I have to go out. The less I have to leave my home, the less I am in a crowd of people at the markets. Thank goodness I have toilet paper to last to mid-June.

If you don't have a car and you're single, as my situation, is very very difficult to buy all you need for a long time. I also have small fridge. I usually try to buy for 2 weeks but is killing my back and is very very difficult to carry alone. Got to think of logistics too

Thank goodness I travel abroad for living. I stacked up on toilet paper and other essentials while in Dublin, At Marks & Spencer the last week of March. Supermarkets there were very calm and orderly. On the other hand supermarkets here in America turned into fighting ring. I remembered watching a video of people running over an elderly lady at Costco with their shopping cart while attempting to get toilet paper.

Do you non white people seriously think people around the world are lying in wait for black people, ready to kill, mug, steal from you?? What the hell is wrong with you all?? You're not that special.!!! OK so you probably have American issues, but that because Americans, especially the Southerners are gun toting nut jobs. The rest of us, newsflash, we don't care about you. No, you're not special or noticeable to us!!!!! You're just people on the street. Black lives matter, but no more or less than Asians or whites. Get a life will you all??!!

Lockdown for 14 days. Ahhh...we were so naive then. I was on lockdown for 3 months in NYC. And the way people are going around partying maskless because "freedoms", it may happen again. Binge watching -time has never been better though and I channeled my inner Julia Child during quarantine. I am now Julia Step-Child. lol. NYC also started doing the clapping for the healthcare workers. Some showed support in very creative ways ie. DJing, violin playing, blasting Sinatra's "New York, NY" from speakers, etc. Btw, that is one cool shopping theme tune. A question: Are you that fluent that you can understand all of Macron's speech or do they have english subtitles as an option for dummies like me?

We didn't have enough masks so the government was trying to save them for nurses and doctors first. They told normal citizens it was only useful to stop the virus from coming out of ones mouth but not from coming in. Now that the stock is replenished, we all have to wear one as soon as we go outside.
