Towards the end of a day while winching with the Suffolk Floaters Hang Gliding Club I connected with a weak seabreeze. I could see the convergence line approaching the field, marked by low wispy thin clouds. Nobody believed me that it was approaching but I talked the winchman (Paul) in to giving me 2 more tows before we packed up for the day. I got a nibble after the first tow so on my last winch went straight back to the area and connected. I took off in a Westerly wind and then was immediately forced to drift in the opposite direction with the East component of the Sea Breeze. I stayed ahead of the shallow clouds that marked the edge of the front. I was treated to a spectacular light display from the low sun and cloud cover. Another memorable flight with this amazing club! I now owe Paul a lobster dinner!!!
