I've been trying to keep up with these videos. They've been very helpful to me. I think once you get over most of the boredom and anxiety symptoms it's significantly easier. Hard road, but we have to travel it.

Take your sponsor up on his offer. Don't let pride or feeling embarrassed/awkward get in the way. We all need someone who is nonjudgemental and in our corner.

You are fine brother. We are all brainwashed that alcohol is some magical potion that makes life amazing. I went through alcoholic hallucinosis 4 times in hospital. I would literally be detoxed, get healthy, and drink the second I was discharged. Be gentle on yourself, know life is amazing sober and keep going. Don't count your days, you don't need to, you have quit thats it.

It takes a while for your brain to adjust to normalcy, give it time and keep pushing through. Your brain is healing and learning to function without alcohol.
