It is 1922, and Sir Topham Hatt purchases Henry for cheap from an anonymous buyer from the mainland. It’s a bad bargain however, as Henry is a flawed design and struggles to pull express trains.
Retcons: Henry is still a flawed Gresley design due to the Doncaster scandal, however instead of being a 4-6-2 like Gordon, I personally made his model from a 4-6-0 B1 with a Bachmann Henry tender. (I’m not claiming that Henry is a B1. He is a one off flawed design by Gresley that was thrown together by the thief.). I did this to 1. Emphasize that Henry is a weird hodge podge put together by an amateur, and 2. Make his design seem more realistically able to be converted into a Stanier Black 5 later in his life. Not a perfect explanation by any means, but I think it works.
