My comments and explanations🤓:
0:30 - the technique of switch and passing with bent leg should be performed in a definitely clearer way;
0:31 - how can I tell if this large roll is correctly performed with the camera switch? This is the reason why I opted for a theoretical score of the exercise, giving all large rolls as valid DA even if sometimes I wouldn’t because of a favorable camera angle;
0:45 - RF’s trunk position becomes correct during the final phase of the turn here though!
0:47 - I remember a discussion in the judging workshop which resulted in the validity of the criterion “outside the visual field” for the Hoop rotation on its axis around the neck, where the Hoop enters an area of “no visual control” when it goes behind the neck. If this is true, then add “no visual” to the DA of Hoop rotation on its axis around the neck;
0:50 - this roll is not really happening across two large body segments, but it’s quite common that gymnasts don’t perform proper large rolls during this very Balance DB;
1:10 - the Hoop definitely crosses an area “outside the visual field” (see January 2022’s Newsletter), but here it’s extremely brief, as the gymnast can see the Hoop throughout the greatest majority of the roll. She though has a minimum two valid criteria on this large roll already;
1:21 - this KB Pivot is clearly invalid (the trunk position is not held throughout a minimum 180 degrees rotation);
1:51 - here it’s 4 valid turns (the last one doesn’t seem complete in shape) in my eyes;
1:56 - the seated rolls in this R don’t seem 360 degrees.
Theoretical DB1 score: 6,0 (DB) + 5,0 (R)
Theoretical DA1 score: 7,1
Total score: 18,1
