Microwave Mochi in Under 15 Minutes
Easiest and tastiest sweet! This is the best dessert to start out making because it is easy, quick, way cheaper than store bought, and better than store bought mochi.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup mochiko (glutinous rice flour)
1/2 cup water
1 spoon sugar (or however much to taste)
Red bean filling
You can also do other fillings like peanut butter, ice cream, black sesame, etc.
Directions:
Combine mochiko, sugar, and water in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1:30 and additional thirty second intervals until slightly translucent.
Stir until smooth.
Dust with cornstarch and divide, fill, and pinch to get your mochi!
