I always wonder - do you know at the outset what your image will be, or do you let it surprise you as well, as the colours and shades reveal an underlying picture? You always seem to start as if it were to be an abstract painting, and then the picture suddenly emerges. I still haven't been able to work like this, but if I could produce work at least half as beautiful I would be very pleased with myself.

Excellent! I curious how you work the acrylic for so long without it drying out. Are you misting it with water occasionally? Really enjoy your work and watching the transition as you paint!
