if you havent already, i recommend you read osamu dazais schoolgirl if you like poetic writing that is so just unbelievably gutwrenching that all you yearn for is for the unnamed schoolgirl to just be okay. i cry at most books i read but schoolgirl took me out for a while lmao, it was so simple n at times montonous but osamu is sardonic n painfully playful w the way he writes, you come back a changed man after his books omg anyway books are great, thanks for the video

Your taste in books is immaculate, based on your books I think you may like book called "A Minor Apocalypse", it's a Polish book about a man who commits and act of self-immolation as the last expression of rebellion against authoritarian power, it also has this dystopian vibe, I don't think it's popular in US but if you'll ever had the chance to read it I highly recommend

almost screamed when you said american psycho is "kinda mid". yes the long descriptions can get tiring to read but all those things are so necessary to get into his head space and fully understand the character. the movie is a great adaptation of that but yeah there's so much more in the book. i get that its not for everyone tho and definitely not an easy read, but its amazing nonetheless

The perks of being a wallflower is so good. In my country the title is just very different I’m going to translate it for you: So this is my life and I want you to know I’m happy and sad at the same time and I’m still trying to figure out how that’s even possible … Amazing title isn’t it? Just too long Hahahha
