2506 is your highest psi tip. I'd probably use 2510, 0010, 0040 2520( or 2530)

I spent about $70 and used that same spray nozzle and put a down stream injector to it then on to my tips, so I do it all from the water hose and a 5 gallon bucket. After about 3-4 more jobs I'll up my bucket to bigger and on wheels

Hi rob, I hope your well & I have been following you guys for quite some time, Love the channel, great content, I have gained some great knowledge from you guys, May I ask a question, it may sound trivial, dragging high pressure hose around is a bit like heartache, ( it’s double wire braided ) do you guys use single braided or double, Excuse the question and hope you don’t mind , Thanks rob 💪🙏

Double braided. My guys don't know that single braided exists. The single stuff is nice to use, but wears out a lot faster

Thanks rob, I appreciate it ! We have leaned towards booster pumps because the heavy hose has become too much, We are in Australia, and the property’s are closer together, making it super difficult to navigate the hose, Again rob much appreciated you taking the time to answer my question, Thank you !!

Could I use this setup with a 12volt system? I know you’re using a booster pump, but if I have the proper tips for the jrod, would the sprayer gun work okay?

Rob, question about tips: if I’m running a 7 GPM (open flow) pump should I be using jrod tips rated for 7 GPM or tips rated for 4-5 GPM? I figure the hose & fittings, plus working at height is creating resistance & not allowing the pump to deliver a full 7 GPM. Any info would be helpful as I am a newb in the roof cleaning business. Thanks!

Can i use a regular garden hose 1/2 for softwashing? Will the bleach harm the hose?
@Cleanpowerwash

Short term it's ok. Long term the connection fittings and the o rings will become an issue

Did you take the o ring out and use thread tape ?
@Cleanpowerwash
Жыл бұрын
No. Garden hose thread needs the o ring and you shouldn't use Teflon tape on garden hose fittings

We use just a PVC ball valve or a Gilmore gun. Mostly PVC ball valve.

@@Cleanpowerwash I see, I have been using the gilmour gun with a twist nozzle, the plain gilmour gun has too much overspray to be useful and I don't like JROD's , I prefer circular fan from gilmour

Tom Rinehart 200-300 is ideal. (For residential) If you have more hose than that you should position your rig better. 400 ft being reeled up is annoying too
