Energy security is important for Ukrainian municipalities in wartime: it will make them more resilient to sudden blackouts. A hospital in Poltava region has been working on this for more than a month, receiving electricity from a solar power plant.
Over the month, its operation helped save almost 38 thousand hryvnias and generated 5 thousand kilowatts. This amount of electricity covers the weekly operation of the hospital's therapeutic department.
Ecoclub has already helped to install five solar power plants for medical facilities in different Ukrainian municipalities. Eight more will be installed by the end of the year. Learn more about the Solar Aid for Ukraine project and how to get involved: ecoclubrivne.org/en/solar_hos...
