Many thanks to the STIIN team for the work they have done. It is STIIN that is the official dealer of ASPP Weihai Techology, and has introduced motors with Slavyanka into many vehicles. The team led by Andrey Lobov is actively promoting Slavyanka technology in the Russian market.
Now the engine with combined windings DA-90S was installed on one of the most popular tricycles in the world - the Indian Bajaj Maxima. The film crew of SOLARGROUP visited the STIIN company to observe the progress of the modernization of the three-wheeled vehicle and tell you about it.

The Bajaj Maxima cargo tricycle is produced in multi-million batches and is used as a commercial small-sized vehicle. There are several hundred million of these trucks in operation in India alone - all with internal combustion engines. However, this country has passed a law according to which it is planned to transfer all tricycles to electric traction by 2025. In Europe, this type of transport is also very common: it is used to create mobile coffee shops, shops, bakeries, etc.
It is precisely because of the popularity of the tricycle that STIIN decided to modernize it in order to offer the market a variant with unique characteristics that are provided by the DA-90S engine. Recall that this motor is produced in China by ASPP Weihai, using the modernization potential of the Slavyanka technology.
Instead of a factory engine, the truck was fitted with an ASPP Weihai engine-controller kit. The 54 Ah battery can be charged from the solar panel located on the roof of the car
The motor with combined windings is so economical that the battery can be left without charging from the mains at all - there is enough energy from the sun to replenish the charge during stops. At least in sunny countries.
Another significant plus: the engine is reliable, it does not need maintenance, unlike the diesel that was there earlier. The savings in fuel and maintenance on the tricycle will be very significant, while the ride performance of the vehicle will only improve.
The convenience of the development of the STIIN company also lies in the fact that the owner of the tricycle can quite easily independently replace the internal combustion engine with a set with an electric one.
We will continue to monitor the future of the promising development, and in the near future, a detailed review of the running characteristics of a tricycle with a Duyunov engine will be prepared.
