Looks good, great job. How about the weight of the cover when wet? I have a 27' round?

So far the weight of my 22x12 solar cover has not been too heavy for it. By doing some Algebra I have 264 (ish) sq feet of solar cover and your's is 573 (ish) sq feet.

Is your solar cover the transparent blue kind or does it have the grey under layer to make it a little more opaque. Trying to decide which style to get. Thanks

Great video. I have the same pool. Are you using the pool cover that came with it at all or only your solar blanket. I am still trying to decide if its worth it to get a solar blanket, or keep using the cover that was included. Thanks

The black cover was a pain to keep on. It gets so windy here it was more of a sail than a cover. Plus, the design of the ties are not great. It was hard to secure the ties to the posts. I packed the black cover up and will put it back on at the end of the swimmimg season. The solar cover goes on and off super easy. 1 person can easily do it. With the black cover, I was having to recruit other people to help. The con to using the solar cover is that more stuff (dirt/leaves) gets into the pool. I vacuum a lot. I do not mind vacuuming the pool at all, it's very Zen for me.
