There’s a lot of parents suffering from addiction/mental health and wouldn’t dare hurt let alone kill them. They feel guilty for having “these problems”. But when it comes to mothers/fathers wanting their kids dead and hand over their kids to a monster is a word that doesn’t exist. Mental health doesn’t make u do that. Doesn’t value their self ok cool but doesn’t value their own kid and to live their life normally is just evil.

My mom was/is still struggling with addiction yet would NEVER hurt me. She’s got physical health issues which is how she became addicted to begin with. It’s been a constant struggle for her. But she’d never hurt me over drugs. I concur with the commenters above. Please don’t associate this evilness with junkies. I’ve watched so many true crime cases where the sober parent that got custody ends up killing the kids and the kids would’ve been better off with their junkie parent who was more responsible and loved them but just had an addiction issue. And so they lost their kid bc of it, and the kid ends up dead. Like legit have seen HUNDREDS of cases like that. So no not all “junkies” are bad parents and not all bad parents are “junkies”

It infuriates me that twisted individuals who harm children often receive lighter sentences, while people are serving 50-year terms for non-violent offenses like possessing a bag of marijuana decades ago. The disparity in how our justice system handles these cases is appalling. It’s a harsh reality that makes me question why child endangerment isn't treated with the severity it deserves. When I say, I believe in Evil, I don't mean anything religious. Human evil: psychopathy and narcissism. I believe in Evil, and it has nothing to do with any devil.
@zandelscomicsandcards7543

I believe in evil but I don’t blame the devil for the evil. Humans did this. They didn’t need any assistance from “The Devil”. The Devil and God get too much credit. These crimes………a human did them. An evil human. Not the devil. When my son was born not being able to eat because his esophagus wasn’t connected to his stomach………A HUMANS knowledge saved him. That human went to school to study from other people who figured out how to save lives. That person who saved my sons life at birth…….That person gets the credit. Not some god who if there was a god shouldn’t have let him been born that way to begin with. If we do everything in our power to save a child, and a god who is supposedly all powerful does absolutely nothing, what does that say about god. His ways are mysterious? He needed another angel? What a load of horse manure. Humans are evil. Humans are saints. And I’m so sick of God and The Devil getting all the credit. If there is a god or a devil they either 1. Don’t give a s**t about us or 2. They aren’t all powerful and all knowing, or 3. They aren’t all good.

My daughter when she was 6 disappeared from our backyard when she walked off with a neighborhood girl who was 10. I had gone in the house to get them drinks and came out and couldn't find them. We called police, searched the neighborhood, people were out driving, screaming her name, they were also looking for the 10yr old, and 2hrs later when police went knocking door to door, they found her inside of a neighbor's house who had a little girl and they said they never heard or saw the commotion going on outside, even though they lived 3 houses away. I can't tell you the feeling of absolute dread and fear I had while she was gone, it was enough to put me on my knees the entire time having a nervous breakdown. Had anything happened to her I'd have never forgiven myself and I certainly wouldn't be giving TV interviews and donating her toys like that. These parents are disgusting, I've had that fear and the reaction is always off for these parents when they do this. I would never wish that feeling on my worst enemy.

Addiction is plaguing our society to the point of an actual epidemic crisis, and nobody seems to have any solution, want to talk about it, or really gaf. This is the result of a sick, drug addicted mind. There was a reason supervised visits were in place. What happened? How did she gain the proper access to her child for this to even happen when protection was so clearly needed that the court set it in place? This little girl was failed. 💔

True, even in Zimbabwe the SPCA is wild on their rehoming inspection, they will literally track your family diet to see if you can afford to feed this dog, check if your property is secure enough to keep the animal safe, I'm pretty sure they will look into any criminal records or records of animal cruelty. 150% of irresponsible parents right now will nor qualify to have and care for children if the SPCA has a hand in parent selection criteria.

God gave her the justice that she deserved at the end of her stay here on earth because now she is in Heaven. Id be praying for her mom. May she repent for her sins and God will have mercy on her soul. As for that man well he can go straight to you know where is what my flesh wants to scream out but even he deserves our prayers that even he may find Jesus and ask for redemption and yes God will also have mercy on him.

Tarleda, I do agree with you that for some mothers the reminder of toys there child played with, would be a constant reminder. In this case it was how the mother was talking to the reporter, not a tear, not any sign of emotions and she came across like a t.v presenter showing the goods on display.

However this is by far not the first I’ve heard recently about suppression of such coverage. Thank you for being honest and brave in telling this baby’s story. I am a true crime buff and I agree with you. This is one of the most sickening cases ever. You may know of the case of Quinton from Georgia. This sad story has so many similarities. The child goes "missing", the door is open and the kid disappears (as if nobody ever locks their door with young kids in the house). This "mother" has the same body language as Lelani. Sucking in air to sound like she is sobbing, no tears. Knowing full well her involvement. Pure evil.

You'd be surprised how all child killers get off easy. My cousins gf murdered his 18month old son (her stepson) by slamming his head into a metal door and leaving him to die in the hallway for over a day while dad was gone. She got child neglect and was able to wait over a year to go to jail because the judge allowed her to live out her new pregnancy at home free and then only went to jail for like 4 years and got out on half time for no reason.
