1st. I can see why you want Eva on video Rich, she is absolutely beautiful. 2nd Your very professional Rich for marking the videos as sold when no longer on the market. That is a classy move that many realtors don't do.

Nice place, but when it’s pushing $300 k it isn’t exactly affordable to buy for many. Seems like Mexico is following the trend in U.S. to only build higher end homes.
@RichVarney

Hi Douglas, you can actually still find decent homes in a gated community for around $210-250k. They will normally be a bit smaller in construction and lot size though. Thanks for the comment 👍

The average home price is Mexico in 2020 was about $55,000. Lake Chapala properties aimed at gringos are not representative of Mexico as a whole.

I have family members in queretaro and plan to buy an investment property in the future. Is it worth it knowing I will only come 2-3 times a year? I dont trust my family to take care of it so I'll probably pay a property managment.

Make sure to get an attorney or notario and get the escrituras or title to the property,, that will be after paying the taxes or impuestos to Hacienda and making sure there are no liens. Your attorney or notario will walk you through the process. It will take longer but its worth it.

How humid does it get there in the summer? I will be visiting there on April.

The month of April is still pretty dry heat. I'd say from May onwards it may get a little humid. However, it is nothing like the coast for humidity

Its like high desert weather so humidity is not a major factor. Here is a link that shows humidity by month starting with January on the right. Scroll down en.climate-data.org/north-america/mexico/jalisco/ajijic-59212/

Hi Joan. My main focus is helping people to sell and buy listing real estate. Sorry, I don't do rentals personally!! I can put you in contact with some local rental companies if you need help there😊👍

@@RichVarney I think they mean that if your nor born in Mexico you don't really own it ...u are basically a renter
@prime8nate
3 жыл бұрын
@@angelgirldebbiejo I think she might be referring to the fideicomiso system in coastal areas, where you have to use a bank to create an ownership trust. Technically, a Mexican bank owns all the homes foreigners have in beach towns. That wouldn't apply to Lake Chapala.
