Wow, the #2 drift looks filthy rich to me, and I swear I can see visible gold in the highly mineralized section, of course video plays tricks on an old miners eyes, lol. But that said I would love to sample a few buckets of that ore.

Yes, normally drifts increase in elevation 1 inch per 100ft. This drift would drain if a little material was removed from the mouth of the tunnel. This is a complex ore. Will require a lot of work to mill. Removing ore is the small part of the problem. Milling......

If I were you I would check what regulations the State of Oregon, the EPA, the BLM and local County zoning or ordinance's and what the regulations the USFS has . Especially since this is Oregon and the BLM and Forest Service has come down hard on miners in this state run by Kate Brown sister to former California governor Jerry Brown .

So as far as I can tell by research this mine was a LEAD and ZINC mine not gold (trace amounts were found) here look. @@666hobart lead and zinc absorb gold you damn fools, to extract use bone ash cupels in a kiln furnace crucible setting to turn lead into gold like alchemy. Aqua Regia not needed, neither is mercury. Just lots of heat. Right now the claim is owned by some Joseph dude I doubt they even working it im going to show up and get rich who wants to help?

Most mines were shut down due to the war act and were never reopened after WW2. You can see all the mineralization. I would like to see what some core samples showed on the face. For the price they want, and if they help file needed paperwork to actually work the mine on a small scale. Then yea its worth it. Gold $1,200 an oz, Silver $15.00 an oz, then you got zinc and copper on top of that.
