Beautiful ! It's kind of sad, tho, the crown ended up in an inside corner. It deserves more exposure.

Did you use a propane torch or is it a map gas torch?
@WesleyTreat

Just a small butane torch.

Looks nice, but you apply not nearly enough heat to your soldered joints. Preheat the brass with the torch, then the solder should start to flow immediately on contact.

Already stated in the description, man.
@andreas5384

TLDR :D. But even the better solder joints you did there need WAY more heat. Besides that it really looks nice :-).

Didn't know you could use ordinary electrical solder to weld joints...
@WesleyTreat

Plumbing solder is recommended for this type of application. As I understand it, it contains an acid that helps to eat away any oxidation on the surface and promote a better bond.

I agree with Brian Eaton --- this vid should have way more views! Can you re-publish it? I bet your (as of this comment) 50K subscribers would love it.

Part of the fun of finding established channels is the ability to binge watch lots of wonderful videos. Wesley's videos do need more exposure though. Especially when you compare the quality of these video compared to other makers on KZitem.
