Steady-state results demonstrate what happens on an infinite time scale for a given set of conditions, but if intermediate results are needed or if a duty-cycle needs to be calculated, a transient study can provide additional information about how it develops over time. When a new study is created using the study wizard as transient, it configures the necessary settings to run a transient study successfully. In this video, see how any study can be manually converted to transient in the study settings and calculation control options. Enable the transient flag, modify the stopping criteria, set the saving options and you'll be ready to go.
