Glen, I dare you to fully load up the inverter and turn off that “DC Switch” ….. Manufacturers are failing to mention the rating of these integrated isolation devices. The other one is 37.9A Mac AC current on a plug… so 16 or perhaps 10mm2 flexible cable??? My call is a device with that much AC 0:04 current and is part of a properties fixed wiring should be wired to a bolted terminal not a plug that can be easily unplugged.

Hi Steven, my understanding is that to pass AS/NZS 4777.2:2020 with integrated d.c. switch-disconnector that the switch needs to be tested as part of the inverter and meet the requirements of IEC 60947.3. As for using an a.c. plug to pass 37.9A... not dissimilar to an EVSE outlet that typically runs up to 32A. I would assume the plug/socket is tested to a standard as well.
