I started this trip at Rainy Pass, Highway 20, and headed north along the PCT. The starting elevation is about 4,800’ and the elevation at Cutthroat Pass is at 6,800’. My GPS logged it as 5.5 miles one way.
I went right after Labor Day, September 8-9, 2020. Unfortunately there were some wildfires in the West, and there still are as I’m writing today. Thanks to the firefighters and support people working to put out the fires. Let’s all do our part 🌲🌲🥾🥾 Take Care 👍
