Hello, this is the finale to the series called “The Scattered Archive” because I didn’t film a whole lot during my first trip. As I continue to grow as a filmmaker I am understanding the elements I need to create a whole narrative. Right now, though, I am focusing on creating more and keeping it simple so I can become consistent on my social channels. The aim is a new episode a week. I will be editing the Korea content next and then recapping the Alaska trip from 2022. The aim is to upload 3 videos a week. Talking about my current adventures, my progress, mental health topics and the progress on becoming a full time Adventure travel Filmmaker. So inspiring! When you started out you were pleased to make 20 miles in a day. Now you can do 87 miles a day - and with all that gear! That’s quite an accomplishment. And your trip looked really beautiful. It made me want to get on a bike and go. The lessons I learned from this are a) you don’t have to be ready to do it all when you begin, you just have to start and keep going; and b) don’t stick to your plan too much, but be open to detours and new ideas as you go.

Congratulations! I am proud of EVERY moment! Rather by car, bike, hike, train, bus, whatever. You were out there. YOU did the work. You persevered through the rough times, the weather, the detours, the mechanical issues. YOU did that! This is your journey and no one gets to diminish it in any capacity because you did or didn’t “follow” perceived standards. Yes. You biked across the America. Period. Great job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🤩🤩

1) Nebraska is beautiful, especially the Platte river. People call it "fly over territory". They miss out. 2) Bison are scary up close! 3) Wishing you a 100 mile day soon. 4) Great series!

@@sohlbergk Oh I absolutely believe you. Everyone was writing off Nebraska while I was biking. But I thought it was breathtaking. Yeah I wouldn’t want to see a bison up close😂. That was close enough for me. Thank you so much for watching!

Nothing wrong with being off the bike when you need it. I took a train a few times while cycling Japan. Once to get off a road I didn't feel safe on, once to make a ferry I was going to be late for and once to get ahead to a major city faster to get my camera repaired.
@RecapturingLife

@@jodyssey9921 That’s what I had to learn. I think at first I was hard on my but understanding that is is okay. Especially when you have to stay safe. How did you like cycling Japan? I’ve been thinking about it after Korea, I’m just thinking about winter coming up.
