There's a calmness in your videos; the music, your voice; please keep that. I'm actually totally relaxed watching this video. Thank you! Food. Try fresh instant noodles by Mayflower. It's a kit consisting of a plastic tub and lid with a plastic fork. It has boil in the bag fresh noodles. Two choices of sauce. I use the soy sauce, the other is an oil. Then it has the spices. The use by dates are good for a few months and they cost less than a couple of quid. I get mine from B&M when they have them. Only a three minute boil in the bag. The battle of the mind! Keep going! The battle of the mind is a real issue. You're not far from the truth when you mention the crime stuff on tv. It feeds the part of the mind you're battling against when you go out solo. Keeps you captive. Feed the part of your mind that you're wanting to win. Hope that makes sense. Take a couple of handwarmers to throw in your sleeping bag if it gets nippy. A really good tip is to stick one of those cursheat pads on, the things for aches and pains, over the top of a baselayer though. The best place is on the upper back, left side. Warms the blood and makes the job of the heart that much easier. Two handwarmers (one pack) and one Curaheat pad just in case. All the best to you.

Thank you, lovely to hear you find my videos so relaxing 😊 I won’t be changing, calm and quiet in the wild is always what I’m trying to share 😊 Thank you for the recommendation, I’ll try and find them and give them a go! I’d never heard of them before 😁 Yes defiantly! I’m starting to be a bit more conscious about what I choose to watch now, every time a crime show is suggested to me I wonder how much it will affect me next time I’m out! I try to override all the bad thoughts with more positive ones too 😊 Good suggestion, I hadn’t thought of the heat pads 😊 I’ll definitely be getting some hand warmers as the months get colder, I wasn’t expecting it to be so cold in august! Maybe that’s a bit naive 😄 Thank you for your comment and tips, it’s always so helpful to hear what others do and have learnt 😊🌞✨

Lovely video . I didn't get much sleep on my last camp . Police helicopter circling below in the valley at 2.30am followed by planes flight path diverted over the Moors one every 30 minutes throughout the night . Mist rolling along the valley and steam rising off the woods whilst sun comes up made it worthwhile

Absolutely, nothing wrong with Pot Noodles🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣. Your camera work is amazing great video thank you don’t tell me exactly where but what part of the country is that? I get exactly what you mean it’s people that’s the problem, when I go camping out because I’m older I use a hammock as my back can’t take laying on the ground. I’ve had deer right up close foxes and a badger sniffing around and under my hammock. I prefer the woods it’s my church. Keep safe and enjoy

I’m going solo for overnighter since nearly 40 years now, and let me tell you that outdoors, in the woods, in the mountains, where ever is the saves way to spend a night. I would never sleep or fall asleep at a railway station or somewhere in a city or village.....or even whilst riding a train......I assume your fear is based on doing something new, solo, to trust nature, to trust that nothing (besides the whether) can attacks you, remember: also your genetics are based on the genetic of people living „outdoors“ or in a cave..... recall your roots. And really try to enjoy these kind of sleep - an forgotten natural sleep in nature... BTW: nice vid! 😊 keep on!

I remember the anxiety of my first camp in 1979, once I had fought off my first werewolf attack and thwarted my first vampire with a garlic bulb all seemed well. As for your natural fear of humans I assume you mean men, I can reassure you 99.99% of the men you meet up there will have nothing but admiration for your abilities as a wild camper, and for your skills as a hill walker. when I meet lone women on the hills I tried very hard to give off a harmless bloke vibe standing off the path to give way and hoping I am demonstrating nothing but admiration, and no ill will. The hills are for everyone and everyone should promote that. Stay safe.
@BrookAurora

Thank you for your comment and kind reassurance 😊 I do mean men and I know the vast majority are absolutely harmless and kind! It’s just the unknown I suppose. I feel much safer in the hills than in a city and know that most people that enjoy the wild wouldn’t cause any harm 😊 I’ll remember to keep a garlic in my pack for those vampire attacks 🧛♂️😄
