I just turned 29 and went on a solo trip to San Francisco for my birthday…1st solo trip ever and it was honestly so empowering as a newly single woman. I felt so free and confident. I took myself out to a nice dinner and just something about feeling confident in being alone and not feeling lonely was the best feeling ever. I watched your previous solo date video prior to my trip and it inspired me even more. Thank you for putting out this content and being such a light…your energy, your aura and your confidence is so beautiful sis. Keep it up! God bless💕✨

That is awesome!!! I flew to Chicago in October for my birthday by myself and enjoyed it. I got dressed up and went to a super nice restaurant and had the time of my life by myself. I believe in the moments of being satisfied with doing solo things and if another person plays into the equation, it's a compliment to what I have going on but not needed.

When I was in my early 20’s, I was in a dating drought for 2 years. During that time I learned to love my own company. I took myself to dinner, to the movies, concerts and plays. I loved it. I’m now in my 50’s, married with children. I STILL love my own company. I occasionally take myself to lunch and movies. I’ve even gone to a few concerts WITH myself. I see my life as a pie. I will share some of it with my family and friends, but I will ALWAYS keep a piece for ME. May you continue to pursue your ideal self. Blessings!

This shows me that we all grow in different areas and shouldn’t judge . You mentioned that you struggle with eating healthy and waking up at 5 am . For me I struggle with social anxiety however I’m that girl that eats healthy , wakes up at 5 am to workout and get things done sooner but I struggle with self confidence etc . This is why I want friendships as well , I feel like having women friends can help you reflect during our self growing journey 🌻.

I don't know if you have studied some information ℹ️ n certain anxiety disorders. Changing our food & drinks & diet affects anxiety issues. Especially having sugar in our diets & white flour foods & high fructose & other forms of sugars or high sodium foods all really affect out function & calm. Leaky Gut is an issue that affects us also. Taking Gabba - cleaning out our stomach & systems & eating super foods, root foods, no gluten , no soy no diary I see as best for our food & drink choices that lower certain anxiety - disorders. Having confidence as a woman 👠🤗 is a big good smart training & discussion in RC Blake's Channel. Tony Gaskins has life coaches & good teaching also. Best wishes to you ,& your next life's blessed journey , God Had for you walking in faith & crushing fear to victory 🙏😅👍💕!!!!

Hi Dang, You're right on having friends to help in self-reflection and growth. I'm an introvert and purposed years back to have outgoing female friends. So 50% of my friends are extroverts with different personalities..and I enjoy learning and adapting new habits or behaviors in place of my weaknesses. And they too, learn and grow in areas where I'm really strong.

You can do it 💝 Loving on you & injecting some feel good into your life experience is good for you & the whole family. Everyone needs to know that mom is important to mom. Mom prioritizes her physical, mental, and emotional needs. Mom does not tolerate any of us knowingly or unwittingly sabotaging her ability to enjoy her life. Mom knows that she is the only one who will take her last breath, so she’ saves a lil of herself for herself. You can do it. I was there.

I have children, I'm not married, and I peeking at 40yrs of age. I do feel bad but I'm learning to acknowledge my accomplishments and set small more attainable goals. Maya, this was an amazing powerful video and it was much appreciated. Love your outfit and your hair and makeup are always on point. I made the decision months ago as 2021 was almost coming to an end. I love myself so much, and a little change is so wanted and needed. And I think and feel that making changes are exciting, and so fulfilling in so many ways. I love the lipstick that you were wearing. You are a woman that inspires so many women, and we appreciate you. Happy Holidays to you and your daughter!🎄🎄🎄🎄🌟🌟🌟🌟🎁🎁🎁❤️❤️❤️

I am so inspired by your journey to becoming a better woman not only for yourself but for your daughter to look up to. I feel the same way about being a mother in my late 20s. I am so eager to evolve so my girls will not make the same mistakes I made. I love this! ❤️❤️❤️

I really like how you said what your ideal version look like instead of better version and how asking those questions help you discover what your ideal version was. I’m going to ask myself these same questions to help me going forward in the new year

Great message. We are harder on ourselves than others. We pick apart our perceived flaws when in reality, we are beautiful and worthy! We must love ourselves first before we seek love from others. I am learning that myself. It's been a journey.🌻

Watching this video really makes me want to open up so much more when it comes to myself and makes me much more motivated to be on my self improvement journey in 2022. You spoke right to me when you talked about procrastination and I’m so there and been there for a long time. Definitely something I am needing to improve about myself. Please keep making these videos. They are inspiring. Thank you and may God bless you through the holidays and going into the new year 🤗.

Sometimes it like that because other people dont want to go anywhere but complain about not meeting people or they work when you want to go out or not available for a multitude of reasons or you just don't want to ask anyone to begin with, so going solo is a great option. Fell comfortable w/yourself and others asking why you are alone. I do this at concerts and crowded venues the easiest to blend in but at the bar or restaurant makes you stand out in a good way too and attract certain people to you.

Maya!!! I absolutely love your IG posts and this vlog. I’m 50, and all that you shared just resonated with me. You’re so gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your evolution with us. I came for the makeup tips and your style cause I struggle in those areas. This deep dive was refreshing. I have traveled solo and casually dined out solo, but I’ll definitely have to try the solo date night. Loved learning about your daughter. I have a beautiful daughters as well. Similar journey in motherhood and dating the wrong guy.

I absolutely love this! I’m married (together 17 years, married 11) and we have 4 children…two of our children have Autism…I NEED BREAKS lol I take myself out for lunch often now, but that wasn’t always the case and I had to learn to take time to focus on ME and work on becoming a better version of myself! I’m still working on this and you definitely gave great advice….Happy Holidays to you and your beautiful daughter❤️
