Fun video, very jealous of your adventure. Hopefully in about a year I’ll be starting mine. Loved seeing you are from Stuart. I’m MCHS Tigers class of 87! Grew up sailing on the Indian river in Jensen Beach

Wow. So cool you are from Martin county. Do you still live there? What type of boat are you going to sail?

I'm envious in watching you sailing solo and been wanting to do the same for the last three years but hesitant. Sailed since I was 14 years old and just been chartering the last few years since retirement. With all the factors to consider it's most certainly not an easy decision. 🤔

Just go for it. I knew nothing when I bought my first boat. I did not die!

@@svcyclops How many days/months in the year do you sail? Do you have a base in France or do you stay on Cyclops?

@albertofourie3294 i am only allowed to visit Europe for 90 days. However that amount suits me just fine as I have much to do stateside. I live on the boat the entire summer with no base. This year I will spend the first part in the UK and then focus time between Lorient and Bordeaux. Then sail to Vigo Spain for haul out.

Is it as easy as it looks to fall off the back of your boat? I noticed the harness so Ik ya being smart, but it really does look dangerous on video.

No chance to fall off as the lifelines are very high. Also unlike a boat with a wheel you sit much farther forward, safely away from the stern and the traveler. When the boat has lots of heel walking can be tricky but a quick ease of the main mains life flat again.
