I've got hip problems too, took two years and the doctors couldn't figure it out, my chiropractor took 15 minutes and was like oh, your hips aren't straight and it's making you walk funny which is collapsing your arch. Some custom shoe inserts and a some help from my chiropractor I'm good to go!

@@Mysticfateee where do you think joe started? he started from no experiance. he just went out and messed around and learned as he went. look at him in this video. he openly shows hes not 100% on what hes doing with the hammock and tarp setup but trying his best. just get out there man dont think about it too hard. look up thr eesential things to know and have to go camping and hiking. and expect things to go wrong. you csn plan forever on a trip and think its gunna go right because of that but 9 times out of 10 it wont. for example, i tried to through hike a 50 miles trail in nj. im a novice hiker. i thought since its flat easy terrain i could bang out 15 miles a day. i had to quit and step off trail because i messed up my feet from too many miles in one go and my legs were shot too. also more than likely the shoes i was wearing werent a good fit and perhaps if i used a diffrent pair of socks too it would have went diffrent. i msde sure to air out my feet on my breaks when i ate or to just stop and breath a second and still got raw feet. just get out there man.

I had a dirt bike crash when I was young to which my left side hip in the exactly the same spot as you described (in the hip lower back ball joint) was damaged for around 8 years that injury-plagued me when performing a hard days at work, sitting long periods (tractor driving) or whenever my body was to overworked, through long-term exercising (mainly walking) stretching every morning in the shower and a good hard mattress slowly the injury has left me thank god!

Great!! Joe got a freaking fish!. Me and the buds were watching and cheered. And, yes, there was some beer involved. We're all older and kinda retired and headed back to the woods. But, one of the buds (Orthopedic Surgeon) said you may have a Bursitis sympton in that hip. I had the same thing when I was 26 and it stayed the same for the last 40 years, escept for a twinge once in awhile. He says you might want to have that same side knee checked too. (something about a L-R Sunset View xray). And you're probably getting a shot in the joint. Let us know, Joe.

Have the hip looked at before you panic yourself. I spent some time in the Australian Infantry and weeks on end sleeping on all sorts of hard and uneven surfaces with no fancy camping mat plus pack marching really cooks your hips out, could just be a knot/tight muscle even if it feels quite severe. Can work it out by laying on a tennis ball or even baseball right on the problem spot. But have it looked at first! Hope it’s nothing too long term Joe! Cheers the video👍👍

For your hip if you have issues with it seeming to start going numb if you sit in a particular way or lay on it in a particular way, you could have what I have. What happens is if you're the kind of person that's walked a LOT in their life, a LOT, it can start wearing things out in your hip and it starts to monkey with the nerves in that area. If I lay completely flat on my back like a board, the outside of my left leg goes numb after a few minutes, it can bug me when I sit down sometimes as well. Nothing you can do about it, we're just getting old. Greetings from Alberta Joe. Thanks for the video! EDIT: After seeing how rough your hip was when you woke up, I think it's different. You tweaked it somehow bud. Hopefully it corrects itself soon.

For the Hip Joe my wife does massage and the number one thing most people deal with near the hip is IT band tightness. www.medicinenet.com/iliotibial_band_syndrome/article.htm Not saying it is 100% thats what you got but might be a good place to start looking. There is stretches, massage, and exercises that help quite a bit with the pain.
