This is very true, my boyfriend is a firefighter in plant city but worked at transcare ambulance services before that where he was waiting almost an hour for a bed to be open when he was an EMT

Wow. Didn’t seem to have a problem 2 years ago when everyone was so called dying. Now a shortage? Hmmm, wonder why

Interesting that a Venue to that many ticketholders is allowed by the City of Tampa to not be responsible for having ambulances available. Even the City itself is not responsible in their own eyes. So instead of having a law stemming from proper discretion the law is subject to availability - - work schedules and staffing. That is definitely upside down and backwards. That should not be status quo.

Why do millionaire athletes have a city ambulance that we know is in short supply/great demand need to be on standby for an NFL team when the team could easily hire a private company to fill this role. I am sure they could all chip in an create an entire fleet of emergency transport and fill them with trained EMTs/paramedics. Even their own hospital if they really were serious about it. Has anyone ever seen what some of these athletes earn?? Just look at the life style the majority of them live and you will get an idea. Meanwhile there are citizens of little to no means waiting on emergency transport that may or may not show up on time to save their life! There has to be more to this problem than what is being fed to us by the media. Tracking these vehicles should be something that is non-negotiable. Its a life/death matter and should be treated as such and not simply another cost to deal with. Just my opinion of course. We can agree to disagree.
