I never used distilled water in my Shark Steam Mop and after a few years, my steam mop stopped producing steam. I searched online for an answer and tried them all. Luckily one of the solutions worked for me and that was the CLR soak. I filled my Shark Steam Mop with a 50/50 solution of water and CLR and let it sit for several hours. You can even let it sit for a day. Watch the videos to see me results. By the way, I also tried a q-tip / pipe cleaner, white vinegar, and washing out the inlet / outlet of the steam mop with hot water.
If you found the video useful in anyway, I'd appreciate it if you can hit the thumbs up for me and become a subscriber. Take Care!
