In this quick video I show how the diode kit should be connected on your motorcycle. My motorcycle is a 1997 Yamaha Virago XV 250.
Quick steps to get it down:
1) Remove the headlight
2) Find the turn signal wires from the "dash" or warning light
- Virago 250 it's a brown and green wire
3) Cut the brown and green wire BEFORE the plug in connector
4) Solder the Diode kit (the 1 end) into one of the wires leading back to the turn signal warning light on the "dash"
5) Connect a ground wire to the other turn signal wires
- the diode should be connected to other
6) Connect the other end of the ground wire to an existing ground wire or connector
6) Next, connect the 2 ends of the diode kit to the two turn indicator wires that were cut
It should be 1 Ground to 1 Ground. 1 Diode to 2 Turn Signal Wires. Going AWAY from the turn indicator light on the "dash"
