How to troubleshoot Wireless HD Products when they won’t connect.
If you find that the transmitter and receiver for your wireless HD product is not connecting, or not staying connected, disconnect the product and follow these steps:
Connect the HDMI cable to the TV - take note of the name of the port
Turn the TV on.
Set the TV to the same HDMI port that the cable is plugged into.
Plug the receiver into a wall outlet using the power adapter.
Once the receiver is powered on, connect the HDMI from the TV to the receiver.
A searching animation should appear on screen.
Connect the transmitter to the HDMI port on the video source.
Connect the transmitter to power.
• Confirm transmitter is connected to valid video source
NOTE: Transmitter cannot transmit from one TV to another.
• Test with different video source
• Test without using adapters
• Ensure there is sufficient ventilation around the product
• Ensure the transmitter is at least 6 feet away from any wireless devices such as modems or routers.
• If connected to an AV receiver, try a direct connection with the video source
• If connected to a PC, confirm the transmitter is connected to an HDMI port.
• Confirm the PC resolution on the display menu matches one in the chart to the left.
• Confirm both the transmitter and receiver have power.
• Unplug them from power, reconnect the receiver and then the transmitter.
• Pair the transmitter and receiver.
• NOTE: most TV’s have metal shielding at the back which can interfere with the signal, be sure to place the receiver at the side or below the TV if possible.
