She went ape on some more age appropriate Be Be Buelle, a gorgeous blonde who was a talented musician. Tore her hair out and stuff. Really showed how desperate she was. Gross. I think he made a good decision, finally. Anyway, saw a newer clip of her & Pamela Debarre in a bar talking and both had gained a lot of weight. Lori looked, well nowhere near good. Oh, and to any who claim this wasn't going on, Pamela DeBarre confined their stories in her book, at the time was grossed out by how young the baby groupies were. She said Bowie came to town, and Lori appeared to be 'holding court' at her hotel, and Bowie stayed with her for a week. So no, Lori isn't lying about all this, there were enough pictures and witnesses. And if she is a liar now, it is testament to why you should not let your daughter get passed around like a joint by entitled, grandiose musicians and singers when she is just fourteen years old.

She talks about the night she was on a "date" with Jimmie and how he dumped her for Lori and she was pretty upset over being dumped, and the fact that she mentions Lori was "holding court", like this tween was getting all the attention, she viewed Lori and the baby groupies as competition..you can see the disdain in Pamela's face when she talks about it in interviews, and not disdain for the men but disdain for these young girls taking away the attention from her!!

@@LucyAyler Defenitely! On one hand we should all believe Lori about the statutory SA but on the other we can not confirm at all what exactly happened so we won't get any real #metoo against Page. She was a professional groupie and made a lot of her later income off these stories so they had to stay interesting. She's told about 20 different stories about how she met Page, most of which do not involve kidnapping of any kind. Depending on the media outlet she is talking to, her stories are framed either as 'poor exploited little girl' or 'creepy wet dream'. For example: 1. in another story she seduced Jimmy together with fellow underage groupie Sable Starr after meeting at a disco and they both lose their virginities in a bisexual threesome with the man. 2. In yet another story Sable threatens Lori's life with a knife when she tries to approach Jimmy and she heroically gets the 'man of her dreams' anyway by being sexier than Star. 3. One of the most confusing: she thought she was a lesbian and only went with Jimmy because of his 'feminine qualities' after which she continued frquenting him because he opened her eyes to a whole new world lol So yeah, absolutely statutory rape but it's pretty unlikely that he literally had her locked up somewhere, especially considering the sheer amount of pictures and groupie stories existing of her with other stars (Bowie, Jagger, Pop...) in the timeframe she names for her kidnapping.

She was excited to meet him and fell instantly in love. She never once used the term kidnapped or said she was under lock and key. It's a fact, at 14 years old, she was regular at 3 different Sunset Strip rock bars and the (Riot) Hotel. Before meeting Page, she was already part of the rock groupie scene.

Imagine trying to blame someone with an undeveloped prefrontal cortex for the actions of a 20+ adult! Shame on you! I hope your loved ones know this.
@skybluemarshall
Жыл бұрын
@luckygirl8879 I'm not blaming the girls. I'm simply stating that we are all responsible for our actions. If I had raped, abused or taken advantage of the dozens of girls who threw themselves at me in the 70s, when I was a short, skinny, young teenage Rocker kid with glasses, would I not have been responsible for my actions, because of my undeveloped prefrontal cortex? I turned a lot of the more innocent and love struck girls away, because I didn't want to break anyone's heart, but it certainly wasn't easy to be a "nice guy" in the 70s Rocker culture. Girls would knock on my door in the middle of the night and I would send them home and remind them that my parents were trying sleep. They would come back another time, knock on my window, crawl inside my room, take off both of our clothes and start having sex with me. No invitation, no phone calls and I hadn't even actively hit on them or strongly flirted with them. A few times, girls would suddenly remember that they had a boyfriend, whom they never told me about and they would burst into tears during sex which was 100% planned, premeditated and initiated by the girls. Now, all of a sudden I'm a 16 year old psychologist, telling them not to feel too guilty about cheating on the guy or lying to me or showing up unannounced and uninvited and basically jumping my bones. I would tell them, we all make mistakes and not to beat themselves up about it. I would send them home and tell them to go patch things up with their boyfriends. But, according to you, I could've taken advantage of their conflicted mental states and I could've talked them into finishing what they started and I wouldn't have been responsible, because of my conveniently undeveloped prefrontal cortex. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to excuse or white knight for groupies or let's try to be respectful and we'll call them uninhibited young ladies. I was responsible enough as a teenage boy enough to use condoms even when the girls asked me not to. I was responsible enough to choose to have sex with girls whom I felt, had some chance of becoming my girlfriend or with girls who were very sexually experienced and clearly not interested having steady boyfriends. I went out of my way to actively try not be a heartbreaker, like some of my male friends and to try to at least be friends with the girls whom I slept with rather than just "humpin and dumpin" which was very common back in the day. Even the girls did it to the guys. You seem to be saying that because of my young age, I wasn't responsible for at least trying to be responsible during an EXTREMELY wild time in our history. I could have been a complete man-whore and had sex with girls who were still crying about cheating on their boyfriends or I could've talked them into finishing what they started and I would've been covered under the "undeveloped prefrontal cortex clause, article 507.103". Some people have no idea what it was like back then. Several years ago, I went to a barbecue with a bunch of friends from high-school whom I hadn't seen in 30 years. All of them were married. We were joking around and laughing about the fact that half of us slept with each other in high school. Like, I said, I'm not excusing grown men, who sleep with teenage girls, but I'm also not excusing teen girls who quite literally throw their naked bodies on top of guys, who never even asked them for it. Now, just to be clear, I don't think it's wrong for teen girls to be as horny and sexually active as teen boys, but we are all responsible for our actions as teenagers.

And this was all planned by girls who were unde Young girls can be very clever. I remember one girl in junior high school, who wanted to spend the night with me. I said, "How? I'm on restriction. I can't leave the house." She said, I'll tell my mom that I'm staying at my friends house and I'll climb in your window at night." She was the first of many girls to do that. Later that night, after we had sex. I said, "What's if my mom comes into my room in the morning? Can you go sneak into your girlfriend's room and crash?" She said, "No, stupid. Just get me a pillow and a blanket, and I'll sleep in your closet when we get tired." We were both 13 years old. She was way ahead of me in terms of devious teenager strategy. Those young teenage girls had more plans than an architect. Their schemes were more devious than the boys' and usually less dangerous. I didn't reach that level of teenage caper planning until at least two years later.

God I'm laughing my ass off:"They were together for several years" what the fuuck,the thing is that Page was a player who knew how to make himself liked and loved because he seemed nice and gentle but the thing was that he made fools out of those girls and they are still so happy about their "relationships" with him and I think it's just sad...I know guys who act just like this and it's actually quite easy to recognize them but I feel sorry for the girls mostly.

mihaela cherciu Page was also heavily under the influence of narcotics, alcohol etc... In his photo journal, he never mentions any of these girls. Lori Mattix (sometimes known as Maddox) says she was just 14 when she lost her virginity to David Bowie. Her next lover was Jimmy Page. Now 59, she says she never thought of herself as a groupie, but tells me that the affair with Page was “the most beautiful pure love I thought I could ever feel. I’d only had sex once before in my whole life. I felt like I’d won the lottery.” She juxtaposes it with other experiences “where men have harassed me … it’s a different thing when you allow someone to be with you”. Lori was living with her mom and sneak out with gf to some of seediest bars where the "rockstars' ( fame,glory,money,power = chick magnet.Like Mick Jagger said "I didn't ask her for drivers license"

I know Carmine Appice (my Late Husband worked with John Lennon and grew up with Vinny Martell and Carmine, and they were much older than myself), and Carmine told me that Decadence was their gift [Vanilla Fudge]. If I hadn't Married my Late Husband, I wouldn't have met all these people, and have Paulie 'Ace Frehley write, and Record a Song about me, just on sight, and gave me the Rights to it. I am too young to have been a part of that Scene, but it was Decadence. "Keep the Boys happy, and that's all that matters", was the Credo. Mud Sharks, piles of shaving cream to slide down naked at the Hyatt [Riot] House and much more was part of it all. But we got the Greatest Music Ever. Thank You!!!

If you all read the book "Hammer of the Gods" it explains that the shark was actually a red snapper. This clip it was mentioned "snapper." It was because she had red hair and it was a red snapper. Also it was John Bonam and their manager Peter Grant. The story with Lori and Page was yes she was 14 and he was 23 24. Her parents also gave their blessing. Obviously if Page was not a wealthy rock God I'm sure her parents would have thought differently. Plus only weird parents would allow their teen daughter to be in a magazine like that. Fame and fortune does weird things to people. Read the story behind Drew Barrymore and Brooke Shields.

As a gen-xer it really disgusts me that this is what the whole decade viewed as living the life and the rock and roll lifestyle. Punk was against that whole mindset along with the neo psychedelia/alternative bands of the late' 80's early 90's and shoegaze too. Women should be in bands too and not make it a "thing". The Go-Go's were basically a pop female version of this whole "Rock and roll debauchery" mindset.They though were female misogynists that that was somehow "taking their power back".

At the Swan Song Label Launch party in 1974 she caught him cheating on her with Playboy model Bebe Buell. I just badly wanna know the day he 'kidnapped' her. Firstly I don't get why she says kidnap. Regarding the Edgewaer Hotel in Seattle mud shark incident: It was Led Zeppelin's tour manager Richard Cole (by his own account) and some redheaded slut groupie tied to a bed -- and it was a red snapper fish, not a mud shark. Not Jimmy, not Robert, but surprisingly it actually John Bonham in the room while it all took place; though everyone else's band claims to have been there to gain notoriety of some kind ... and I am not sure that Bonzo actually participated in the incident.
