This inspired me to buy an EWI Solo. I watched it multiple times a day after I pre-ordered it. Such a damn cool version of the song.

The last time I saw Michael, he played with the phenomenal Terri Lyne Carrington, the champ, Herbie Hancock, and my hero, the RH Factor, Roy Hargrove, at USC. I miss him and Roy. Geniuses.

Yes , Rick ...so it happened to me when I saw him alive in Tübingen (Germany) in 1988-he changed my musical live , bought a Tenor Sax and I am still playing - now got an EWI 5000, the story continues. Thanks for the upload to bebopkim-fantastic

I am a EWI4000S player and thought for a while that I'd found the ideal instrument for me in the 5000, but after reading about the hassle with the Lithium Ion batteries I have decided to look at another type. So disappointed.

Does anybody know how he is changing instruments so fast?

Brian Bassman the source should be the many thumb rollers on the back of the EWI in combination with the foot pedals he's pushing.

The thumb rollers are changing the octaves, surely or is the 3000 different from the 4000s? I am looking at the Behringer FCB1010 MIDI pedalboard in conjunction with a standalone, Integra 7 MIDI module to get the live patches.
