+Arcadian Lee agree, but in order for any nation to be GREAT, it must be unified.

+biomed Taiwan is pretty unified ;) Also, that statement is a very groundless claim; and it has nothing to do with what he said.

+foaly8 talk about groundless, how do you know which nation arcadian lee and myself was referring to?? neither a lee nor myself mention taiwan. you are being presumptuous. you don't even know which nation arcadian lee is from. my statement is universally TRUE and VALID and can be applied to ANY nation on earth and you call it groundless????? BTW, i hope you know that taiwan is NOT a NATION!! perhaps IT IS YOUR statement that is groundless. IF MY NATION IS NOT UNIFIED, THEN IT IS NOT GREAT, THEN I HAVE A LESSER LOVE FOR IT. AGREE????

+biomed Because this concert was in Taiwan -- although Song is from China. And I looked at his profile, which seemed to suggest that he is indeed from Taiwan. So while I can of course not be certain, it seems a reasonable -- at least not groundless -- assumption. :) Moreover, it seemed like you were trying to imply that it is not, but rather ought to be reintegrated into China. Yes, I still call it groundless. You make a statement which you claim to be "universally true and valid", without backing it in any way. Also, while the definition of a "nation" is not undisputed, one common one -- and the one I tend to use -- is something like "a government which controls a specific territory, which may or may not be associated with any particular ethnic group" (here somewhat synonymous with "state"). This certainly is the case for Taiwan, although many other nations refuse to consider it as such for the sake of the Chinese Yen. (See what I did there? I backed my claim with an argument, so it is not groundless anymore. ;)) And no, I strongly disagree. First and foremost because I find "love for a nation" to be a quite laughable idea; in part since borders are not a fact, but a human invention fluctuating with time. But also because there may be many forms of "great" (another very ambiguous term) which a non-unified nation might achieve -- China might be a good example, since certain parts "of it", like Tibet or Hong Kong, have a to some degree autonomous (but not really sovereign) status, and so one could count it as not unified. Still, one might find quite a few measures according to which China can be described as "great" (; and -- some might argue -- also several according to which it would be not so "great"). Of course, we can agree that you will have a lesser love for your nation in case it happens to be not unified, and you believe others should feel the same way. However, they do not. :)

+foaly8 are you trying to tell me that a divided nation is more loved by its citizens than a unified nation??? now tell me which SOCIETY (i am not even referring to a nation) throughout world history that my prior statement is NOT true and invalid.
In China everything is politics .Once you are in different group without your fault ,you are gone .it appeared 宋祖英 was the blue eye singer of former CHAIRMAN JIANG who had lost power ,Hence she is completely eliminated any singing performance . I love her singing ,golden sweet voice .with such pretty lady from minor ethics group . Hope that can listen to her again .God bless her .
