It’s meant to get you out of the building in case or fire those rooms. They connect someway with a fire ladder or they are weaker walls so you can escape into the next apartment. Thanks for the tour. I love house tours.

That open space next to the main fridge is indeed for a second fridge, a kimchi fridge

Yea they make a years worth at a time and need the room. Also keeps other food free from the odor of the kimchi.

OK I went and saw this today and the Realtor said that mystery spot is used for a secondary fridge. Apparently this is pretty common in Korean homes. I am actually moving in to Starhills on Monday. This place was the best in town in my opinion.

@@EverydayArmyWife look up Kimchang. Making kimchi is a tradition to make a whole years worth at a time, Families gather. Sharing with neighbors as well.

Just toured this place yesterday, super nice. I ended up going with Gangnam Village just because it's closer to base and more convenient, but this was by far the nicest one my realtor took me to.
