Without a doubt the best demo/review out there. So clear, concise, and ultimately m u s i c a l.

Holy crap... leave it to sonic state to revive my interest in a module I had totally written off due to all of the crappy YT videos showing people twisting knobs with harsh noise and atonal distortion seemingly being the only thing this module was capable of. Great job! Now you just need to do about 20 more videos of modules long neglected due to bad demo videos. hehe

Ideally you should be 12 when you get your modular set up and by 40 you'll have your first tune done.

I love that there is a key for what the "Voices" colors mean printed right on the panel. Thank you for that small nicety, Xaoc Devices, and this innovative module. And thanks for the great review / demo, Edd.

I dissed this when hearing the first demos, but this video changed my mind. Loads of the stuff you do with it sounds really really good in my ears. Take care, stay safe.

Seriously more people need to do drone demos. Fancy grooves over beats are great, or like explaining Easter egg features like divkid for 45 minutes is fine but if you’re really looking to get these on a tool by tool musical basis this is what people need to do. This actually lets me know it’s features way deeper...

Xaoc are so good. I have their Sewastol since four years, absolute swiss army knife of audio interfacing. Wouldn't trade it for anything except maybe the updated version. Also have Zadar, which is crazy in it's own right. Odessa is very exciting.

What are you sequencing the HEL with? You mention 3 notes from a sequencer, but there’s 4 inputs plus a root input.

I was sequencing with Malekko Voltage Block. I think in the section you're thinking of I must have been in the 3 voice mode so the other two inputs are ignored. i.e. input 4&5.
