Watch to see what the different status light patterns mean for the SONNET Audio Processor, part of the SYNCHRONY Cochlear Implant system from MED-EL. Especially helpful for new cochlear implant recipients and anyone involved with handling SONNET such as parents, teachers or professionals.
SONNET Status Light:
- Short green blink: the FineTuner command is received
- One green blink: Program 1 is selected
- Two green blinks: Program 2 is selected
- Three green blinks: Program 3 is selected
- Four green blinks: Program 4 is selected
- Short green blinks every 3.5 seconds: optional status light shows the SONNET is functioning
- Continuous red blinks: batteries are empty
- Continuous red light: minimum or maximum volume or microphone sensitivity is reached
DL-Coil Status Light:
- Three short blinks: the DL-Coil, coil cable, and audio processor are working (SYNCHRONY, CONCERTO, MED-EL CONCERT, SONATA, PULSAR cochlear implants only)
- One short green blink: the DL-Coil, coil cable, and audio processor are working (C40 and C40+ cochlear implants only)
-No lights: Link Check is disabled, or the audio processor is not working
- Continuous short red blinks: DL-Coil is not communicating with the implant
Short red blinks 10 seconds apart: the DL-Coil is powered off
