Performing a Big Band Jazz Drum Cover with Brushes and Sticks to a Jazz Classic Recorded in 1963 By The Count Basie Orchestra and the tune also arranged and composed by Quincy Jones. This song came off the CD "Li'l Ol' Groovemaker...Basie!" which has a bunch of songs that was composed and arranged by Quincy Jones and was the second track of that CD. I also emulated the great Sonny Payne which was the drummer for the Basie Band with both brushes and sticks and the drummer on this recording was the great wonderful Sonny Payne. The tune was also recorded in 1961 by The Quincy Jones Big Band on the Album "I Dig Dancers". Here is The Pleasingly Plump Recorded by The Count Basie Orchestra and Composed by Quincy Jones.
