The movie record start/stop button is not accessed on the 200DLM/A underwater housing for the Sony a6600. However, it’s easy to set the camera up to ergonomically start and stop recording using the camera’s C1 button. The C1 button is accessed using a bright red push button on the top of the housing near the shutter control.
Additionally, you can set the shutter button to start/stop movie recording when in the Movie mode. This provides very convenient access to the recording start/stop when you’re dedicated to shooting video underwater.
