Hi, I got the HT-Z9F with the rear SA-Z9R speakers. Never actually had a problem because I moved away the things that will interfear with the wireless signal. I think I know what the problem is. First turn off all the tvs wireless signals, all those will ruin your signal because they are in the same 2.4 GHz signal, also move away any USB 3 hard drives or USB dongles, Intel wrote a piece on how USB 3 connection interferes with wifi and Bluetooth 2.4 GHz signals. That's just a fact, read online about it. Then turn off the wireless wifi signal on the htzf9 and the Bluetooth signal, those will interfear with the rear speakers too. After you've done this, turn off your router or routers. Turn off the sound bar. Make sure you waited 3 min and then turn the sound bar back on and make sure the rear speaker have been fully connected. After they have been connected wait 3 min and then turn on all your routers . This will make sure the (2.4 wifi signal that would otherwise interfear with the rear speakers ) signals don't use the same channels anymore and the wifi signals will find other ports to connect to and prioritize the rear speaker signals and minimize any interferes. Also in the settings of the htzf9 turn off IR repeater, Bluetooth stand by. Now always use Ethernet cables for all Sony products when possible, especially for the tv and sound bar, you get the best internet speeds by doing this, it's a night get and day difference. I have a X950H and only use it as a monitor, nothing else is used, besides the settings and for firmware updates. NEVER USE SONY ANDROID TV apps, they are not even real 4K, they are 2k upscaled,Sony Android tv is subpart to things like the Nvidia Shield tv or Apple tv, get one of those, especially the Shield tv pro as it has AI upscaling so things that are 1080p look 4K, I kid you not. When you've done all this you will get the best experience from your Htzf9 and rear speakers, they are simply unbeatable and with the Dolby virtualized setting on, you will hear a big BIG difference when watching real Atmos and DtsX from a UHD bluray player, the only way to get True HD lossless Atmos not that 700 kbps that Netflix offers, but the 10+ Mbps loveless Atmos Audio that only is offered by a UHD disk. Cheers!

I have mine for about 6months now. I have no such issues like everyone else. I have a x900h Sony tv. And a Sony htz9f and a Sony z9r rear speakers, also a Sony x700 4K uhd blue ray and a Dolby vision roku streamer box. My one remote Sony works fine. I listen to my Atmos & DTS-X movies in Dolby true hd & DTS master audio with cinema and dsp on. Sounds great. I went into settings in soundbar and tv also to implement the Atmos and dts-x pasthrough for soundbar and tv. As well on the Dolby vision/Atmos roku box to get Atmos sound from the apps and Netflix. My bass & rears are set to +6 each. My soundbar menu is set to -3 bass and -3 on the rears. I also turned my Sony sub backwards against the wall facing 4’ from the wall to get a bass reflection for a deeper BASS. I also used new high end or better quality hdmi. (Never use Sony hdmi that comes with it) my music and movie volume is up to 35 db only. My living room is 12Lx12Wx25 in ceiling height. I can hear deep bass and 7.1.2 vertical height from the soundbar. DTS-X has a lot of rear sound and height,DOLBY ATMOS has a lot of height coming from front to rear. This set up is a DSP OBJECT BASE reflection off your living room WALLS.

@chrisonaguilar
3 жыл бұрын
Nice! Welcome to the fam! First off for Netflix if your looking to hear Dolby atmos sound, it’s only going to work for the movies that list it on the top corner before you click play. It should display that Information on the main tittle screen for the movie. Now you can still here a really good sound even without it being labeled as Dolby atmos, it’s just not going to sound as supreme. Your still going to get a upscaled sound than usual but that’s it for that. I would highly recommend buying the rear speakers to achieve the background sounds, which basically when it’s Dolby atmos or vision compatible you will be mind blown for how crazy it bring it to life. You’ll hear sound fx coming from behind as if you were right there! For the PS5 you want to connect one HDMI from the tv to the soundbar, optimize the settings from the soundbar home by following this: Home, Setup,Advanced Settings,HDMI Settings, HDMI Signal Format, Enhanced Format to All! Now as obviously you’ll need to connect the PS5 HDMI to the tv for them all to sync and you should be done!

@@bluemoonranger1983 it’s definitely still available around my area. Stores like Best Buy or Sony still have them. Possibly even EBay or Amazon too.

@@chrisonaguilar thanks for your reply, amazon don't have any, not found any on ebay, Sony website says currently unavailable, tried most stores here, shame we don't have a best buy here. 😫
