That’s awesome! I like this one a little more than I expected to. When I saw they left out that new AI chip I figured it would just be a spec bump from the original, because that thing in the zve1 made it SO unbelievably good at sticking focus. But I guess this new processor is so solid it does almost the same thing.

I had the “auto wine prevention” setting on, so you’ll notice it goes in and out of being super tinny and then sounding somewhat normal, and that’s when there’s a gust of wind that it’s algorithming out of the recording. I think I’ll stick with using dedicated microphones

Welcome to Orlando Florida, I'm a lifelong Central Florida resident :) What was the 10-18mm lens you were using?
@NicholasJamesJohnson
13 күн бұрын
Hey Molly! (I am also a frequent regular at the parks.. my wife and I just built a house in Dr. Phillips like 5 minutes north of Disney Springs!!) That was the Sony 10-18mm f/4 OSS (optically stabilized steady shot). It’s great for moving around because the stabilization works super well. amzn.to/4edFiWL
@MollyFitzBrown

@@NicholasJamesJohnson The stabilization does seem usable with an OSS lens on it (I tend to use Catalyst Browse after but it's a pain). That's cool you live so close to Disney! I've grown up in this area and love living near all the parks :)

@@ArmchairFinance oh beautiful! Then start with that light at about 85%, as close to your head as you can get while being out of frame. Camera settings, start with 1/50 shutter speed, 1.4 aperture and iso 125. That’ll be real close to what you want, bump up the ISO first if it’s too dark. If it’s too bright, you can go to 1/60 shutter speed and it’ll still look natural.

sorry for blowing up your comment section…. but if i’m going to be using a camera solely for green screen work… like a mrs rachel type of content…and it will always be on a tripod in a well lite environment, is it worth getting the mark ii because the original zv-10 is such a bargain now
@NicholasJamesJohnson
Ай бұрын
Yeah, I’d say it’s worth getting the newer one.. The original is four years old.. The bigger battery, the better menus and software features, even the more convenient sd card slot together make this just a better camera and this one will receive support and firmware upgrades a lot longer than the other one. OH and the HAVC-HS format for video files means you’ll save tons of hard drive space over time

Stop saying BOKAH! it's bokeh! Japanese! Are you people going to say Karaokah because some westerner decided to add H at the end of Karaoke? Lol
@NicholasJamesJohnson
Ай бұрын
Well.. let’s be fair; how do those same Japanese people pronounce “shutter speed..”? They say “shuttah speed.” Or my own name, they don’t say it the way I do. I would guess there are just as many people pronouncing bokeh with an “ah” as there are with an “ay” in this world and the argument is purely pedantic.that said, I appreciate you trying to help.
